Camfil is hiring Assemblers to join our Air Filter Production team based in Riverdale, NJ. No previous experience needed!
Paid training, full benefits, 401k matching, annual performance bonus & merit pay raise.
- 2nd shift - Minimum $16.00/hour or more depending on relatable experience. 3:15pm-12:30am, plus overtime.
- 1st shift - Minimum $15.00/hour or more depending on relatable experience. 6:00am-3:15pm, plus overtime.
Summary: The Assembler is responsible for assembling components per approved engineering drawings and maintain the reliability of products and accountable for effectively maintaining the operational status of the assigned production lines by performing the following duties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow basic assembly instructions, processes and procedures
- Maintain process cycle time to keep pace with established standards
- Consistently assemble components throughout work shift
- Visually inspect filters for any defect
- Must be able to stand for extended period of time
- Must report any issues, malfunctions or defective part to the Group Lead
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required interrupt numerical and alpha letterings and match accordingly to pick lists. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.
