We are an apprenticeship training program for the local carpenters union. Apprenticeship is an earn as you learn arrangement involving a full time job and associated class room training. Apprentices learn by working with an experienced journeyman carpenter (on job learning) and attending 160 hours of training at our training center each year for four years. Apprentices who meet the requirements of on job training and class hours get an advancement and pay raise every six months until they reach journeyman status. The employer (Contractor) pays for the training, health insurance and pension benefits.
