File Reviewer (Loan File Auditor)

This position is a great opportunity for someone who would like to get their foot in the mortgage / finance door at an entry-level position. The job entails compliance duties with a heavy focus on data analyzation and administrative tasks. We will provide training as this is a very specific role, but if you have experience in mortgage/real estate, you will stand out! JOB DUTIES

• Audit electronic loan files for compliance per federal, state and broker regulations
• Calculate and prepare commission summaries for loan officer 1099/W2 commissions   
• Communicate daily (primarily through email) with Loan Officers/Processors regarding stipulations
• Work with compliance team to upload files by the provided deadlines
• Responsible for daily communications with both loan officers and outside parties, via email and telephone.  
• Assist with misc. administrative/research tasks
• Reports to the compliance manager and works closely with other compliance and accounting team members.
• Provide impeccable customer service to our clients, peers and supervisors

Qualifications/Skills

• B.A/B.S. or Certificate  is a plus, but not a requirement. 
• Experience in the mortgage / real estate industries is a plus, but not required.    
• Must be naturally detail oriented and highly organized
• Must be able to manage demanding situations and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Light Data entry skills are required
• Document analysis and auditing skills are required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required 
• Must be a fast learner who is not afraid of new systems or software.  
• Good customer service skills are a must.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.  
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is a must. 
• Position is located at the corporate office in San Diego, CA; remote candidates may be considered with the right background
  
  

Compensation Package

Hourly Rate: $18-19/hour starting rate
