We are an established local residential pool service company based in Richardson, TX. We pride ourselves in delivering great service to homeowners in Dallas and the surrounding area. We are looking for a Pool Service Manager that is experienced, dependable and energetic to join our team. This role will oversee the daily operations of the pool service and maintenance business including coordinating route schedules, facilitating repair and maintenance items, handling customer service, new customer onboarding, managing chemical and part inventory, and serving as the primary point of contact for service customers and pool technicians. The primary goal of this role is ensure pool routes are properly executed and service customers are satisfied.

 The ideal candidate for this position will is trustworthy and responsive and someone who can execute with minimal supervision and effectively multi-task. They must be a team player and willing to jump in and help wherever needed, including covering pool routes as needed. Must be ok working outdoors and making frequent stops during work hours. Ideally, this will be someone with established knowledge on maintaining and servicing swimming pools in the Texas climate.

  • Under general supervision provides daily operation, and manages residential swimming pools. This position will be both out in the field and in the office.
  • Assists in hiring and supervising pool technicians as needed
  • Responsible for scheduling of all pool technicians, maintaining time and records (we use Skimmer)
  • Ensuring performance standards are met by pool techs and customers are satisfied
  • Field incoming customer requests for service and maintenance needs
  • Report any repairs needed to the main office to ensure they are scheduled and completed
  • Coordinate, track and schedule filter cleanings for customers
  • Responsible for ordering chemicals and daily maintenance of the pools
  • Ability to offer coverage for routes as needed

 Education and Experience

High School diploma and a minimum of two (2) years experience as a swimming pool technician and experience supervising other employees.

 Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of swimming pool cleaning, maintenance and repairs
  • Expertise in plumbing and electrical maintenance a plus
  • Knowledge and use of chemicals for swimming pool and water chemistry
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of accounting and mathematics
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; ability to create effective working relationships with pool technicians and the customers.
