Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of the comprehensive education program for 0-3 year olds in collaboration with their co-teaching partner. The Early Head Start Teacher ensures that the education program is developmentally appropriate and meets the individual needs of the children as mandated by Office of Head Start, Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, Wisconsin’s quality rating and improvement system, YoungStar, and Next Door policies and procedures.

Next Door serves nearly 1,400 children a year from birth to five years old through two center-based sites, a home visitation program and 11 partnership sites in Milwaukee County.
Next Door has served the Milwaukee community for over 50 years. Over the years, the organization has evolved into one that is focused on early childhood education and family support.
