Equipment Maintenance Operator

This is an entry level position in the Equipment Maintenance Team. Candidate will be trained to perform essential job functions. Candidate will be responsible for daily tasks in support of the Equipment maintenance team.

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

• Performing routine maintenance as directed by Equipment Maintenance team.
• Use bead blaster, wet chemicals, and other equipment to clean mechanical parts needed for production.
• Assist Equipment maintenance technicians as needed
• Monitors and communicate tool status to Maintenance team members, to schedule maintenance.
• Must maintain a clean workspace and keep all parts/spares/tools stored in designated areas.
• Comply with all safe maintenance procedures.
• Work with the team to prepare for and clean-up following maintenance activities.
• Conduct morning walkthroughs in essential areas
• Other duties as assigned.

• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

Physical Activities:

At times this position will requires standing for long periods of time. Kneeling for longer periods of time at sometimes awkward positions. Work on ladders or otherwise elevated. Must be able to wear a respirator and SCBA. Lifting of items more than 50lbs.

Qualifications

Experience:

0-1 years of experience in a similar position preferred

Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer knowledge such as but not limited to Microsoft products
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong ability to work well in a group atmosphere
• Strong ability to learn specific operations in the production process to support operations team.

Other:

This position will require you to work with and in close proximity of corrosive chemicals, flammable chemicals, compressed gasses, toxic gases and other hazards. Familiarity with safe practices associated with these hazards is a plus.
