JOB SUMMARY: MSI seeks an Account Executive to prospect, develop and obtain new and existing business relationships for assigned area of responsibility by providing unique solutions for all HVAC needs, including service contracts, repairs, and retrofits.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for direct sales of the company's services, including prospecting leads, effectively qualifying sales calls, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiations and managing sales cycle to close
• Ensures that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained and that sales revenue, gross margins, product mix meet or exceed assigned
• Prepares complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as Management of accurate CRM pipeline.
• Appraises and survey mechanical systems to determine condition, age, application, and proper quantity for maintenance
• Participates in training. Attends meetings, trade shows, seminars and other training and networking events as required or
• Keeps informed of industry information of interest to Tracks industry trends. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining new business.

Sales Skills 

Prospecting

• Continually search for new customers using all available resources and leads.
• Actively pursue and contact these prospective customers as a planned sales activity.

Qualifying 

• Make qualifying presentations to new prospects for the purpose of identifying customer needs, wants, problems and potential problems.
• Qualify prospects and decide whether to pursue the prospect and/or what products or solutions to propose.

Strategy

• Understand the customers' organization, purchasing process, and identify key decision makers.
• Utilize EMCOR strategic selling methodology to manage the contract sales process leading to favorable decisions and an order.
• Actively pursue and follow this strategic sales plan for each prospect.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Minimum of five years of relevant sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated selling, problem solving, presentation, and negotiating skills.
• Experience selling HVAC services, equipment or projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
