Management and Program Analyst (Strategic Planner) (GS-12/13) - SkillBridge Internship Opportunity
IMPORTANT NOTE: This opportunity is only open to SkillBridge participants on active duty who are at least 13 months from separation.
LOCATION: Office of International Affairs-Assistant Commissioners Staff, Washington, D.C.
SALARY: DoD SkillBridge interns are paid by DoD while they intern as volunteers with CBP. The salary range below reflects the pay scale if hired at the end of the SkillBridge internship. There is no guarantee of employment, however, if CBP hiring managers are able to hire interns at internship conclusion, the salary range is: $99,200-149,422 (GS-12 Step 1 to GS-13 Step 10).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supporting the CBP Office of International Affairs leadership by completing a wide range of analytical projects and studies.
· Developing, planning, conducting, and participating in DHS and CBP strategy initiatives.
· Planning, developing, and coordinating briefings, presentations, and drafting materials for leadership.
· Providing strategic guidance to INA leadership on new or proposed legislation, executive orders, directives and other organizational agency decisions that impact CBP and INA.
· Managing and coordinating internal and external information requests from Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Management Inspection Division (MID), for all INA audit and investigation activities.
