Job Description

Duties to include but not limited to operating spin testing equipment which includes using common hand held tools, measurement equipment, and computers. Involved with the assembly/maintenance of various spin testing equipment and spin test hardware. Will be trained for job duties for the setup and performance of heated tests, growth tests, high speed video tests, and LCF and HCF tests which will be supervised by Senior Technicians or upper Management.


  • Be able to interpret various customer / TDI drawings and specs.
  • Understand processes to conduct test according to test plans as required.
  • Initiate and complete certification documentation of tests performed.
  • Set-up & run tests according to the test plan.
  • Respond to changing priorities.
  • Work with Engineers and Quality to develop and improve products and processes.  
  • Work with Production for continuous process improvements.
  • Perform assigned tasks as designated by Management.
  • Demonstrate tact and sound judgement in decision making.
  • Provide a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Know, understand and stay current with all company policies and procedures and latest version all applicable operating policies and procedures in the TDI Quality Management System Manual.
  • Perform PM schedule on all production equipment as directed
  • Maintains cooperative relationships with other departments and personnel.
  • Knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment and perform proper mechanical inspection practices.
  • Operate balancing equipment.
  • Ability to setup spin test equipment including data aq, tachometers, temperature racks, and other recording equipment.


  • US Citizen
  • High School Diploma
  • Some knowledge of ISO 9001/ AS9100
  • Punctual, well organized and productive
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Ability to drive fork lift truck & overhead cranes
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • State EEOC Compliant



  • Working in machine shop type environment
  • In contact with light turbine oil.
  • Use of isopropyl alcohol and acetone.


  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Alcohol / Drug testing required-FAA requirement
  • Eye Exam-ISO Requirement
