Outside Sales Professional
Orkin Pest Control, the industry leader for over 100 years, is looking for sales professionals. We have experienced significant growth over the past few years and our expanded service offering has created an opportunity for an experienced salesperson (residential home improvement sales is a good fit) to prospect, propose, and sell our services. We inspect a home from top to bottom and via a digital presentation, offer solutions to homeowners. This is a base plus commission opportunity. Our top performers earn top wages, as well as annual awards trips and recognition. Orkin offers a company vehicle and full benefit package including medical, dental, paid vacations and 401k. Required Skills:
You will be responsible for:
• Developing a daily schedule of productive activity from creative in house sources and qualified leads
• Responding to and initiating telephone contact with existing and new potential customers
• Developing community relationships for referral and sales opportunities
• Conducting thorough inspections of the potential customer’s home
• Preparing proposals specific to the individual homeowner’s needs
• Presenting the sales proposals, explaining identified problems and the proposed solution
• Closing sales and achieving sales performance objectives
